It is the great news and the phone will be available from 15th August for trials in beta and after 24th August will be up for pre-booking on MyJio app and offline Jio stores across the country. JioPhone Features :
It comes with a 2.4 inch QVGA display running on 512MB RAM and 4GB inbuilt storage and also 128GB expandable memory via microSD card. The phone have 2MP rear camera and a VGA front facing camera. There is also FM, NFC and GPS support on the device.
The feature phone supports 4G VoLTE. It said that Jio would increase its 4G coverage in these areas to support the quick proliferation of JioPhone and given that the phone’s main offering is HD voice which is based on VoLTE. JioPhone comes built with Jio apps like
JioTV, JioCinema, JioMusic etc. It also support voice commands using which users can surf the web or control the phone.

Jio will take one time Rs.1500 and its 100% refundable security deposit for the phone which will be refunded back to the customer after returning the device 3 years later.
